Does Your Snoring Spouse Keep You Awake?

By: Renee A Moller

In recent years, snoring has been risen statistical wise around much of the world's variously regional populations. In the United States alone, there are now new estimates of an approximation of at least one in five snoring individuals are full-time snorers. But this figure does not include the partners of nightly snoring that directly affects those individuals that must try sleeping through another person's habitual snoring. Adding in the rest of the nightly snoring suffers that are forced to live with a person that is a chronic snorer, these figures can easily more than double.
There are several known, and still a few unknown reasons for the upswing in habitual snoring individuals to now be on the rise compared to even only 25 years ago. Some of the biggest reasons for snoring to be higher statistically now than in the recent past can be directly linked to more people than ever now being overweight, more working hours week after week for more people than ever before being on the rise, higher amounts of drinking and or smoking and legal or illegal medication usage is higher than ever before. People also do not get anywhere near as much exercise as they used to, nor do they get the relaxation and proper nightly rest that everyone's body naturally requires.
When you think about it, it is so easily understood as to how and why habitual snoring can be directly linked to being obese and even just somewhat overweight. Think about it, the fat adds onto the body all over, not just in your stomach, butt and thighs. There will also be extra fat around the facial and neck area too.
The more fat around a person's neck will eventually become so much to interfere with a person's breathing by restricting the much needed airflow throughout the throat passages. There is also too, the obvious factor that when you are overweight, you are out of shape very badly, and this will more often than not be a major interference with a person's overall breathing capabilities, even throughout the day and night.
Today's society in a number of places around the world, but especially the United States, there are more activities than ever tempting individuals to force more hours out of a 24 hour period than at any given time during history. In the United States alone, it now not only seems to be normal, but actually expected for the average individual to work 60 hours a week from one or two jobs, and to also do your best at cramming in as many weekly extra curricular activities out there around them.
As adults, this has been going on for a good 20 years now, but for so many more of the kids today, they too are now having their days crammed full of extra activities outside of school. It is a now known fact that getting less sleep on a regular basis will contribute to snoring in adults, and especially children. It is now also known for children that are sleep deprived snorers to be at higher risks of ADHD, or also known as the hyper activity disorder now common with more children than at any given time of human history. No mater whether snoring is common for an adult or child that you know of, it is best to help them find a good anti-snoring resolution like Asonor for better long term health.
