In the area of prefabricated construction, the two main categories that stand out are mobile offices and modular buildings.
Business's that move from one place to another choose prefab office's. In contrast, the modular buildings are custom-buit to a user's specifications.
The construction of both types of buildings is conducted in a factory controlled environment and built with the same materials of a traditional building. The complete structure isn't made in a single piece, rather the floor plan is divided into separate modules which may be shipped over the road. The modules can be anywhere from 10-18 feet wide by 36-76 feet long - the width of the module varies with state shipping laws.
A Modular Building is built 90% at the factory. Each module is built with its own walls, ceilings, floor covering, and electronic wiring. Building modules are next constructed to create a seamless structure when it arrives at its destination.
Most modular buildings consist of one floor ,for a total of up to two thousand feet. In addition, modular buildings can be utilized for bigger areas covering three or four levels and have square footage in the tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.
Just like traditional structures, modular ones may be utilized for a variety of reasons. It can vary from a mobile classroom to research lab amenities to a therapeutic infirmary. Businesses in medical care, government, schooling and retail sales frequently resort to modular structures to fill their building requirements.
